Tournament Results 1st Place - Cheeky and Havok ![]() After an absolutely intense tournament lasting TWENTY hours, 3 victors emerged. Ten games, split across PC and console, close till the very end. DarkAnubis didn't solidify his victory until the 9th tournament, and 2nd and 3rd place was a dead heat till the end. 1st Place - DarkAnubis 2nd Place - TheFragile 3rd Place - John 4th Place - Madman ![]() Another Smash@Uplink in the books, another victor crowned. LordKnight swept the competition this past event to take the win. The event was best of 3, double elimination. The final match between LordKnight and MoneySmith was a close battle, but MoneySmith couldn't quite deliver the knockout he was looking for. Hopefully we see them again for the next Smash@Uplink! 1st Place - LordKnight 2nd Place - MoneySmith 3rd Place - DyslexicHobo 4th Place - Keith Acevedo ![]() Twelve teams showed up for this intense tournament. After several suprise upsets (including the previous winners, Team E2K, losing to newcomers Team Alright and Team 50% Less Fat losing to Shep/Thumm) it came down to an intense final few matches. Team Alright ended up going undefeated for the victory and cash jackpot. 50% Less Fat shocked everyone by eliminated Team E2K and eventually coming in 2nd after massively stepping up their game after their first loss. Team KhaotikCheekz finished 3rd to round up the cash winners. 1st Place - Team Alright 2nd Place - Team 50% Less Fat 3rd Place - Team KhaotikCheekz ![]() Congratulations to SNO Blade (Cody Legg) on emerging victorious in this tournament. The final matchup between Cracker and Blade came down to the very last possible round in the last set after Cracker upset Blade to give him his first loss in the finals. 1st Place - SNO Blade 2nd Place - Cracker ![]() What a tournament this was! Dan and Hobo came from behind after a devastating loss to make their way into the winners bracket finals against the undefeated team of Scoprio and John. Amazingly, they quickly stomped out the competition in the final match to win the tournament. Hobo and Dan also managed to beat Divon and Madman in a special bonus event lasting over 40 minutes for free daypass coupons. Their final match was close, but not close enough to strip them of their cash prize, and undefeated title. 1st Place - TheFragile and DyslexicHobo 2nd Place - Iamme and Madman ![]() Going undefeated in the Halo 3 tournament, Steve and Nick from Team E2K took the win and the cash jackpot. Nick, in the losers bracket had to win two sets of three. Coming down to the 6th and final song, Jeremy won by ONE NOTE. Ten straight hours of gaming madness lead to one winner. Dyslexichobo led for a good majority of the day until TheFragile stepped it up with five consecutive first place victories to seal the deal. The race for 3rd wasn't determined until the 10th and final tournament where Smgz narrowly pulled ahead 24 to 22 over 4th place. What an intense tournament! Davey-Boy impressed everyone with a four song winning streak against Seth to take the tournament win.
